FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Thelen LLP has been ranked as one of the most prestigious law firms in the world, according to the 2009 edition of the Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms. For its 2009 guide, Vault assessed its "Quality of Life" rankings from more than 18,000 associates surveyed on the qualities that create the most amenable and enjoyable law firm environment.
Vault determined its rankings by surveying more than 160 major law firms across the country. Attorneys were asked to rank the top 100 firms in terms of how prestigious it would be to work for them.
Here is a sampling of what Thelen associates had to say about the firm:
"I love working at Thelen. In particular it's a good environment in which to be mentored - I feel that at an early stage of the game there's a lot of opportunity to work as an intregal member of a client team." - New York associate
"Thelen has a very friendly culture, emphasizes diversity in hiring and marketing, flexible hours for professionals, with a business casual dress code." - Washington DC associate
"As far as opportunities for advancement go, they will push you as far as you can - if you demonstrate that you can handle the responsibility." - New York associate
"I think we are doing exceptionally well. The litigation department has been incredibly busy this year." - New York associate.
"They have a strong presence in renewable energy and are working hard to expand this, along with a climate change practice. While there are competitors, they have a unique combination of strengths in the energy field that few other firms can match." - San Francisco associate.
