Thelen Holds A Networking Seminar for Law Students, "How to Work a Room: Tips From A to Z"

'

NEW YORK  -- On Tuesday, Feb. 19, Thelen LLP and Pinstripe Coaching co-sponsored the event “How to Work a Room: Tips From A to Z”.

The event was attended by approximately 45 law school students, many of them describing it as an informative and beneficial seminar and a dynamic interactive workshop to build general networking skills. “All that you wanted to know about networking, but didn't know whom to ask," commented Shrinivas Sankaran, a 2008 LL.M. candidate who attends New York University School of Law.

Thelen special counsel Rebecca Brazzano and Debra Forman, a certified executive coach from Pinstripe Coaching, were responsible for the remarkable outcome and positive feedback received by this seminar. Diane C. Yu, a board member of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), also contributed with supporting remarks and insights that the students found helpful and informative.

The event took place at Thelen’s New York office at 875 Third Avenue and guests included attendees from law schools such as Columbia Law School, New York University School of Law, Brooklyn Law School, CUNY School of Law, Seton Hall University School of Law, Rutgers School of Law, and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
