Thelen Hires Top Environmental Journalist to Launch Climate Law News Site

Thelen announced today that the firm has hired San Francisco Daily Journal associate editor and nationally-respected environmental and energy writer Dennis Pfaff to launch a daily news site on climate change and sustainable energy.

The site, which will be called Climate Law Daily, is slated to launch in March and will provide up-to-date news and analysis on the unique legal, regulatory and legislative issues that are altering the way businesses around the world operate. The site will also draw on Thelen's Climate Change and Sustainable Energy practice, which includes attorneys with expertise across the full range of critical legal service areas, including environmental, project development, regulatory, trading, governmental affairs, intellectual property, land use, and real estate, offering our clients an unparalleled depth of experience In the fields of energy and climate change.

An environmental journalist of 30 years with the San Francisco Daily Journal, The Detroit News, and UPI, Mr. Pfaff has covered such issues as California water litigation, Proposition 65, climate change, endangered species, and the fallout from California's experiment with deregulation. Mr. Pfaff's experience in these areas is expected to set the firm apart as it continues its 30-year track record of handling the largest sustainable energy projects in the world.
