Four Brown Raysman Attorneys Named Southern California Super Lawyers

New York – January 24, 2006 - Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP is pleased to announce that Henry Silberberg, Robert Kovelman, Allan Gabriel and Robert Duffy were named Southern California’s Super Lawyers for 2006 in a special section in Los Angeles Magazine. This section is sponsored by Law & Politics and nominations are based purely on peer recommendation with over 45,000 lawyers interviewed for the 2006 survey.

“We are honored to be recognized in such a listing where peer recommendations are the sole measure for inclusion,” said Henry Silberberg, Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. “Four attorney mentions in this year’s survey is a testament to the quality service that we offer our clients as well as a reflection of the growth our firm has experienced in California over the last year. We are expanding our practice in Los Angeles and just opened a new office in Silicon Valley. We intend to continue moving full steam ahead.”

Below are the attorneys listed as Southern California Super Lawyers:

Henry Silberberg is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office and concentrates on complex business litigation and arbitration. His practice includes "business divorce" disputes among partners, shareholders and joint venturers, defense of class and shareholder derivative actions, and lawsuits involving securities, real estate, insurance, unfair competition, employment and intellectual property issues.

Robert Kovelman, a SuperLawyer for the second consecutive year, concentrates on domestic and foreign intellectual property issues, including prosecution, litigation, and transactional issues. He has substantial experience in negotiating technology agreements and licenses, and he advises clients as to both offensive and defensive strategies relating to their intellectual property portfolios.

Allan Gabriel focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation involving trade secrets, patent, trademark and copyright infringement, false advertising and right of publicity claims on the trial court and appellate levels. He also has substantial experience in handling antitrust, unfair competition, general business and commercial litigation matters and insurance coverage disputes.

Robert Duffy concentrates on real estate development, financing, leasing and representing real estate service companies. He has represented a broad range of clients in the real estate field including real estate developers and syndicators, mortgage lenders, real estate brokers, title insurance companies, escrow companies and other real estate settlement service providers.
